Niños con Valor

Transforming lives, one child at a time… is Niños con Valor’s motto, a charity organization that strongly believes that every child is a unique creation of God, with innate value, with rights and needs that deserve respect and attention.

KeepCalling, through its office in Bolivia, adopted the motto and decided to sustain Niños con Valor in their determination to save lives. The charity campaign run by KeepCalling was initiated by the company’s employees living in Bolivia. Their motivation to raise funds for the children rested on the promise that the amount collected by them was going to be doubled by KeepCalling.

2015 Easter Donations

A few weeks before Easter, we donated $1,000 to Niños con Valor, because the children needed school supplies and uniforms. The NGO purchased uniforms and shoes for 7 boys and 22 girls, who were really happy with their new uniforms for this school year. Niños con Valor depends on donations and that’s why we decided to help them with the cost of school supplies, because even though the children attend public schools, they still need uniforms and regular school supplies.

2014 Christmas Donations

We couldn’t forget about one of our favorite charities in Bolivia on such a special occasion, so this Christmas we donated $150 to the children from Niños con Valor. The money was used to host a Christmas dinner that all the children enjoyed.

2013 Christmas Donations

The month of December brought new donations from KeepCalling to Niños con Valor. This time KeepCalling’s offering came in response to the ever greater needs of the Bolivian organization. Niños con Valor is taking care of more and more children and more of them are attending school, so the expenses are constantly increasing. KeepCalling’s donation of $600 will be used to cover daily and school expenses for the children living in the two shelters of the NGO.

2013 Easter Donations

Easter was a very good occasion to donate! KeepCalling employees from Bolivia decided to collect food products and make a holiday donation to Niños con Valor. The employees joined efforts and gathered rice, noodles, food cans, and other kinds of non perishable food. This gift was offered to Niños con Valor with the intention of helping the less fortunate at a time which should bring joy and celebration in everyone’s lives.

Niños con Valor was very happy to receive KeepCalling’s Easter gift, as any donation is always very important to help the ones in need. This was KeepCalling’s third donation to Niños con Valor in Cochabamba, an organisation which shares the same core values as KeepCalling: the respect for human rights and the desire to give something back to the community.

2012 Christmas Meal at Niños con Valor

Niños con Valor center in Cochabamba benefited from KeepCalling’s second donation in December 2012. The amount assigned to this organization represents part of the $690 funds raised through individual contribution of the employees, matched by KeepCalling. The money received was used to organize the Christmas festivity for the children in the shelter, plus extra food supplies.

KeepCalling is dedicated to supporting Niños con Valor center because of the values shared: educational opportunities for children to explore and grow their gifts and talents, plus access to appropriate training according to specific individual needs.

Niños con Valor guide their efforts through respect and justice, considering the innate value of a child in any society. Their actions are also meant to support integrating children within families and society and to offer them emotional and spiritual aid in addition to satisfying their physical needs.

This charity action is part of a longer closed partnership between KeepCalling’s Bolivian employees and Niños con Valor and lines up with the company’s social responsibility principle. On top of this, the recent visit and donation complement the other charity efforts oriented towards supporting education opportunities.

2011 Presents for all the Niños

Niños con Valor is divided into two homes and it hosts 34 children: 25 girls aged 2 – 16 and 9 boys, aged 1 – 6. With the money collected in 2011, the company was able to buy sweatsuits for all 34 kids, shoes for the boys, socks for the little ones and other fun accessories for the girls, like headbands and nail polish. Moreover, instead of offering the presents in wrapping paper the company ordered eco-bags that could be reused by the children in the future. Therefore, on December 23rd, each child from Niños con Valor received a 3 piece sweatsuit.

KeepCalling together with all its employees believes that it is our duty to give back to our community in every way possible. Helping those in need is what feeds the soul and makes the heart smile.
