Pay It Forward

March was Pay It Forward month at KeepCalling. Our creative Charity Committee launched a challenge that was embraced by very many of us. Each Charity member selected 3 colleagues they offered a surprise gift, together with the Pay it Forward card. The KeepCallers receiving the card had to pay it forward, by doing something nice for 3 other people and so on.

 

The Pay It Forward campaign spread even beyond the KeepCalling office, as many of us chose to also involve our families and friends. 49 gifts were photographed and posted on our Facebook page, but the total number of nice gestures was much greater than that.

 

We ironed shirts, offered free Chinese lessons, and bought books, cups, theater tickets, and most of all sweets. The conclusion was obvious: sweets can brighten anyone’s day! Pay It Forward was one of the charity projects we loved the most, because it meant spreading kindness all around. Even if the project ended officially, we can all continue it on our own and change the world, one good deed at a time.
