Mosoj Yan, Bolivian Organization
Mosoj Yan 2013
In May 2013 KeepCalling donated $1000 to Mosoj Yan. This amount will be used to repair the Refuge of Restoration building, one of the shelters where the NGO functions.
The Refuge of Restoration center is actually a temporary shelter working for the social and family reinstatement of adolescents who have suffered some form of abuse, whether sexual or physical. It also works to support the formal and technical education of teenagers without families. Another purpose of the shelter is the empowerment of girls and young mothers dealing with exploitation and hardships.
In October 2013, KeepCalling turned its attention towards Mosoj Yan again. The organization needed funds for a new project entitled Educating Girls-Every Girl Counts, for which KeepCalling donated $2000. This project initiated by Mosoj Yan’s Motivation Center is meant to help some of the girls living in the streets to change their lives by leaving their unhealthy environment. In the process they will be able to acquire technical skills that will help them reintegrate into society. The new project will facilitate new opportunities for a more sustainable life for the girls in question.
KeepCalling decided to support the Bolivian community as well as the global one by giving back a part of the success achieved as a multinational company. The initiative taken by KeepCalling is part of a complex program aiming to support NGOs that bring real value and generous benefits, regarding formal or informal education, environmental protection, health care or sports. The involvement of the company and its members in social and educational actions is closely bound to KeepCalling’s motto: “Give something back to the community.”
