San Martin de Porres in Bolivia

In December 2011, San Martin de Porres, Animal Shelter in Cochabamba, Bolivia, was on KeepCalling’s donation list, as a choice of the employees in the Bolivian office. The amount donated by KeepCalling was directed towards medical products like vitamins, antibiotics and food.

The animal center hosts more than 100 dogs, and 40 of them cannot be given for adoption because of different reasons, usually because they are too old or too sick. Therefore, these animals rely entirely on donations to survive. Plus, the shelter is striving to build a more suitable accommodation for the animals.

Based on volunteer work, the animal shelter helps meet the needs of the neediest dogs in the world of rescue. As a provider of medical care and shelter, the organization strives to educate the local community on the proper care of animals and thus acting against animal cruelty and neglect. As part of their regular activities, the volunteers give dogs for adoption and sell dog-toys and clothes to raise money for the animals upkeep.

KeepCalling’s current contribution lines up with the company’s social responsibility principle and complements the other charity actions invested in educational and environmental projects and sport events.
