Between July 25-26, twelve KeepCalling employees were involved in a new Habitat for Humanity project which involved building four houses for families in need. The construction site was located in Chinteni, a village in the county of Cluj, Romania. KeepCalling contributed with more than just work force: the company also donated $2000 which will be used to buy construction materials and tools.
KeepCalling’s employees were happy to fulfil two purposes during their stay at Chinteni: to help and to learn. They helped the families facing financial difficulties, who were also members of the construction teams, and they improved their handiwork skills. Apart from all this, they also got to know the stories of the future owners of the houses and managed to improve their teamwork skills by working together as a team on the construction site.
This was KeepCalling’s second involvement in Habitat for Humanity projects. Between May 30-31 2011, 10 KeepCalling employees built a house in Beius, Romania. KeepCalling is proud to join an ever-growing team of volunteers working for Habitat for Humanity who fights in the name of an everlasting cause: improving people’s lives all over the world.
