KC employees donate 2% of the income tax to local NGOs
Every year in May, KeepCalling employees in Sibiu (Transylvania, Romania) get together to support specific NGOs by redirecting 2% of their income tax according to local law. Just like in 2013 and 2014, the money went mainly to medical emergency services, special and early education and animal care.
But the new thing about this year’s donation is Fundatia Comunitara (Community Foundation), well favored by 8% of KC people who filled in the 2% forms. The activity of this local on-growing young organization embraces all domains of social responsibility that KeepCalling is also for: education, sport and urban space functionality and appearance, medical care, women support, etc.
Top 5 NGOs on KeepCallers’ list this year were SMURD, Animal Life, Maini Unite (United Hands in translation), Fundatia Comunitara (Community Foundation) and OvidiuRo.
KeepGiving policy
KeepCalling team in Sibiu has thus managed to line up with KeepCalling supportive policy when it comes to charity actions. All departments in Sibiu (Operations, IT and Marketing) responded positively to the governmental invitation to redirect the 2% of their previous year income to specific organizations of their choice. It is due to common interests that KC team in Sibiu offered their support to differents key agents acting positively in the social life of the local community.
