“1 Byte” IT student contest
KeepCalling launched a challenging IT student contest, called “1 Byte” addressed to all university students in Sibiu, the Romanian town where KeepCalling has its main office. The prizes include a Quadrocopter, an iPod Touch and an iPod Shuffle.
The contest is based on several IT branches: web, programming, networks, data bases, etc. and is open to all students in Sibiu, regardless of their faculty or major.
The contest is built on the structure of a PC game, containing eight levels whose difficulty increases as the contestants approach the end. Each level focuses on a different IT subject. The first six levels are purely theoretical, while the last two will require practical project skills.
By organizing this competition, KeepCalling wishes to raise the interest of student competitors, while the prizes offered are meant to reward them for their IT knowledge. The contestants have the chance to enroll by June 25th, and the first results will be available on June 26th.
