KIVA loans

Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. KeepCalling offers each employee a gift certificate to use on Kiva.org.

This way everyone working for the company is able to select from hundreds of people in need and lend the money to those cases that impressed them the most. Kiva initiative was strongly appreciated by KeepCalling team and some of our colleagues also volunteered to help Kiva in other activities.

KeepCalling loans reach $5,375 by July 2013

KeepCalling keeps supporting third world entrepreneurship through Kiva loans. By the end of July 2013, KeepCalling lending team, made up of more than 60 enthusiastic and ambitious employees, managed to lend a total of $5,375 through individual loans, each amounting to $25 per case.

KeepCalling employees have each $25 available to roll from case to case. Within the 5 years membership, KeepCalling contributed with 215 loans, as decided by its employees.

Still… this is not the end. The story goes on, since we believe that social responsibility is a condition to sustainability. It is equally true for both organizations and individuals, and that is the motivation we bear in mind.
