Georgiana, one of our enthusiastic Marketing Specialists, recently attended the Digital Marketing World Forum, taking place in London. She was excited to tell the story of this great event.
There were many hot topics on the list, like content marketing, customer experience, and data driven marketing, but it was also about digital commerce and the convergence of social media and customer service. There were speakers from Coca-Cola, BBC, Sky, Nissan, Financial Times and Kaspersky Lab.
There were also two workshops, where we were divided into teams. For the first workshop we had to come up with solutions to a social media crisis, while the other one was about customer experience and the journey for someone who would like to buy a new phone with a plan.
The conclusions of most of the teams were that consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints is key, whether the contact happens in a store, with a customer service rep, on the website, or through advertising.
