Bike to Work raises $1600 for school supplies

The 2013 edition of KeepCalling’s charitable program Bike or Walk to Work ended on September 13th. This year, KeepCalling employees proved to be even more enthusiastic about the program, since they could also walk to and from work to raise money, not only ride their bikes.

The employees’ enthusiasm, together with a more effective donation criteria led to a surprising final amount of $1600. The money raised was donated by KeepCalling and used to buy school supplies for 41 elementary school students struggling with economic difficulty. The children study at two elementary schools in Sibiu, Romania. The supplies were offered to them on the first day of the new school year and both the students and their families were happy to receive this act of kindness.
