Visits from our far away colleagues are so very welcome. Not only that we get in touch with other cultures, but this is definitely very positive for the team, and the company as well.
How was your stay in Sibiu this time?
Ami: My stay in Sibiu was good as usual. I believe this is my 5th time here now.
Paul: In a few words, WONDERFUL and EXCITING… On each visit Romania feels more like home, with more and more friends.
Funny memories or stories about new places you got to visit?
Ami: I went to a horse show, and it was great. I learned a few things about Arabian horses. I also went hiking to Paltinis, which I really enjoyed because I like being in nature.
Paul: We spent two days in the Arsenal Adventure Park, at about 90 km distance from Sibiu. It was amazing to discover Valentina as the second best shooter in the IT team. Amazing and scary, I’d rather not upset her ;)
How do you find the experience of working from another KC office? Pros and cons?
Ami: I like being in the Sibiu office. It is a lot bigger with lots of people, so it is great to have that exposure, seeing colleagues and having that face to face interaction.
I also love the new office, it’s really nice. I like having my 15min morning walk to the office, because in Atlanta it usually takes me 40min driving just to get to work.
Paul: Pros – It’s refreshing, and exciting! Having my friends and colleagues right next to me, supporting and helping me gives me the feeling of true teamwork. Cons – Having to leave.
