In early July, Cristina, Marketing Specialist for Tello, attended a 2 day event in Amsterdam called Performance Marketing Insights. The conference intended to show participants how to effectively create, reach, monetise and convert audiences through performance marketing channels. Cristina gives us a few insights into what PMI meant to her:
The presentations were split into 3 parallel tracks and I tried to focus on the ones that were most valuable for Tello.
The main discussion points of the conference were affiliate marketing, content marketing, and lead generation and I particularly enjoyed the keynote speech held by Dr. Andreas Wiele from Axel Springer who spoke about the move from print to online.
Other interesting speakers represented famous companies worldwide: Hotels.com, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, or Office Depot. There were also boot camp sessions focusing on the practical side of conversion optimization, people-central marketing, app marketing strategy, and marketing KPIs.
